Wet Deck Bar & Grill: Your Go-To Spot for Fun and Flavor in Livingston, TX

I discovered the Wet Deck Bar almost 6 months ago and now try to go as often as possible. Don’t expect a Michelin Star restaurant. But you can surely expect a fun, friendly Texas bar and restaurant with great music and welcoming staff. The Wet Deck Bar is a Texas Bar Restaurant for locals, the atmosphere is among the best in Livingston; games (darts, pool, etc) are available inside. Depending on the day you visit, you may find Karaoke, a live band, or simply great country music to enjoy. The food is good. The hamburgers are very good. The bartenders and the waitresses are always welcoming and helpful. They make this place magical. But you need to know your way around. You may wait to be attended at the table, or just go to the bar and order. You may come to the window and order too. Someone will always help you for sure. Promised! The patio deck has an amazing view of the sunset while at the lake. I have driven to the Bar and there is plenty of parking available. Most of the times I sail across the lake, anchor, and use the dinghy to dock. There is plenty of room for docking. I love this place. I will keep coming again and again to the WDB when around Livingston. The place is captivating. The best way to feel local and welcomed.

Jalapeno Burger was fantastic. Didnt care for the bartender on our Friday night visit. She was crabby from the get go. No hello, no welcome, no smile. I asked to order a beer and she snapped back "you will have to wait a moment". When permitted I ordered 2 beers and closed out my tab. I quickly got a lecture from her about not to be ordering more after my tab was closed and runnining another card because she will get in trouble & it cost the company more money with evrry CC transaction. It was embarrasing. Wow, I didnt expect to get in trouble. Thing is, I paid for the 1st round of beer the boyfriend paid for the second round and food. Gish! And, he made sure to pay with cash so not to upset the already crabby bartender. I get that credit cards cost the company. But please dont have your bartender lecture others about it. Good place to see a sunset and the live music was good.

Visited December 2023. The building is clean and spacious...the dance floor is just the concrete floor, but it's very smooth (lots of dancers tonight). Staff was friendly, and the service was good. Porta potties were clean. The sisters' grill food truck was a tad bit pricey, but the mushroom burger and nachos were delicious! I didn't have alcohol so I don't know about the prices. We were there at night and when it was raining so we didn't get to enjoy the big, wet deck.... they said they have bands outside when the weather is nice, so that is definitely something to watch for.

Such a fun place. Live music. Good vibes. Love that you can come up on the boat and enjoy it too!

Stopped here for the 1st time. The burger was amazing!! The staff was very nice!

The best (and only) place to pull up your boat and have some food, drink and sun on Lake Livingston. It can get busy so don't be in too much of a hurry but the food is good and the beer is cold and it won't cost you a fortune.
